Tell Us What the House Is Doing

A few details let us answer properly the first time: how old the house is, which rooms are uncomfortable, whether the attic has ever been insulated, what town you are in, and which utility serves the home.

Assessment

No charge, no obligationA technician walks the house, attic to basement, and writes up the scope before anything is ordered

Booking an assessment is the fastest route for most homeowners. It also starts the applicable utility-program path: Mass Save in Massachusetts or Rhode Island Energy through RISE in Rhode Island.

Route your request

Not Sure Who to Ask For? Pick the One That Fits.

Different questions have different fastest answers. Choose whichever one sounds like your situation and the next step is below.

I want the free assessment
I have a rebate question
I need a price for one job
I want to know if you cover my town
I have work booked already
Something is wrong right now

Book the walkthrough and let it settle the scope

You do not need to know which service you need before you call. The assessment is the step that works that out, and it costs nothing. Use the form on this page or call the office, and say roughly when you are usually home.

Ask before the work is scheduled, not after

Mass Save in Massachusetts and Rhode Island Energy through RISE in Rhode Island both require program approval before material is ordered. Call or write with the town, the utility on your bill and roughly what you are thinking of doing, and you will get a straight answer about what applies.

No price is quoted over the phone

Two houses on the same street can need very different work, so a number given before anyone has seen the attic is a guess dressed as a quote. Say which job you have in mind and the assessment comes back with a written scope and a real figure.

Call the office and name the address

For a job that is already scoped, booked or part way through, the phone is faster than the form. The office can see where the paperwork sits, when the crew is due and what the next step is, without anything being handed between people.

Water, ice or a burning smell is not a form

Active water coming through a ceiling, ice building at the eave in the middle of a thaw, or anything electrical needs a phone call, and in the case of anything electrical, an electrician first. Insulation work can follow once the house is safe and dry.

After you get in touch

What Happens Next

Three steps, in this order, whether the first contact was a call, an email or the form above. Nothing is ordered and no paperwork is filed until you have seen the scope in writing.

01

A reply, usually the same day

Someone calls or writes back to work out what the house is doing and when a walkthrough suits you. If the answer is a short one, you get it there and then.

02

The walkthrough

A technician goes through the house from the attic to the basement and notes where the envelope is failing. It takes an hour or so for most homes and there is no charge for it.

03

The written scope

You see what is proposed, what it addresses and how Mass Save in Massachusetts or Rhode Island Energy through RISE applies to it. The scope goes for approval before any material is ordered, and the decision stays yours.
